Veterans for Vending
There are a lot of personal stories that go into this program.  Let me tell you mine.  My father volunteered for WWII because he knew it was the right thing to do.  At the time, he was a student at MIT.  After the war, he returned to finish his degree at MIT.  He married and had three children.  Unfortunately, he contracted polio and became paralyzed for the rest of his life, confined to a wheelchair.  As we know, veterans are trained to be resilient in the hardest of times.  My father couldn't go to the bathroom by himself, couldn't take a bath on his own, and couldn't get out of bed on his own.  So, this veteran decided to start a business and have three more children.  (Well, God decided the children for him.)
That's what this program is about.  Veterans being resilient and starting a business.  If not a veteran, a family member of a veteran.  In turn, monies are contributed from the program to help wounded veterans and their families.  Not by giving them money, but targeting the money to assist them in redefining their life. We all want to make sure our veterans are taken care of because it is the right thing to do.  Candy for a Cause™ is a program to provide an income for a veteran while providing contributions for wounded veterans and their families.  Thank you for your part and taking the time to learn about the program.
